SATURDAY 16 NOVEMBER 3PM Central Methodist Church, Todmorden ENTRY BY DONATION
ACCESS FOR THOSE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES AND WHEELCHAIR USERS – there is a lift which measures 72cm wide x 96cm deep.
This charity concert in aid of Music for the Many and Todmorden Food Bank and Drop In will be a fantastic opportunity to hear two local choirs. The programme will include exciting choral arrangements of well-known songs on the theme of water performed by a cappella group Under the Bridge, while Hepton Singers will perform a highly varied offering of sumptuous choral works spanning more than four centuries. These will range from works by the two towering figures of the English musical renaissance of the sixteenth century, Thomas Tallis and William Byrd, through Charles Villiers Stanford from the late nineteenth century, to a present-day star of the classical music world, Anna Lapwood.
