This Hepton Singers charity concert celebrates northern soundscapes set alongside some of the most sonorous music to have come from the Lutheran and Church Slavonic choral traditions..
The choir will perform movements from Rachmaninov’s sublime All Night Vigil, as well as A Wondrous Birth by the Soviet-era composer Georgy Sviridov. In addition, the programme will include works by J.S. Bach, the Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir, the Norwegian-born Ola Gjeilo and the Estonian composer Arvo Pärt.More details soon.
